Your Move in 3 Steps:
1.
Contact us to schedule your moving estimate appointment. We can give you an moving quote over the phone but we prefer to meet and talk with you. (relationships & reputation is the foundation of our business, if we are not a good fit for your needs we will recommend another moving company)
2.
After a meeting with you and explaining our moving process, how we pack, how we load and how we protect your items during the move. During the meeting we give you a final price. This price will not go up. It is the total amount with no extra fees or costs.
3.
Moving day, you sit back and relax (or try to, most customers like to watch the process) while we move your home from one location to another. Before we leave we make sure everything is in order and placed exactly where you want it.
Moving Tips:
Dishes:
Dishes are one of the things you have to take extra care when packing to ensure safe moving. Start with a strong box, use the heavy duty boxes from Home Depot or the dish boxes from U-Haul. Next be sure to place layer of padding between each dish. Paper is not recommended for padding dishes. Use foam padding, bubble wrap or cardboard.
Glasses and Cups:
Glasses and cups may be packed “nested”. (one packed inside of another) Only nest three or four to a stack. Use padding between each item. For larger breakable items wrap individually and fill any extra space with packing to keep the items from moving around during the move. The individual glass pack boxes are nice but expensive if you own a lot glassware.
Closet Clothes:
Wardrobe boxes are great but most people have more hanging clothes than can fit in two or three wardrobe boxes. So use a few wardrobe boxes to pack your favorite clothing and use the following method for the rest. Buy the heavy duty contractor trash bags from Wall Mart. (or similar store) Take 10-12 hangers and bunch them together then place the clothes inside the bag and tie top of the bag tight around the top of the hanger. This is great moving protection at a low cost.
